Report an incorrect or outdated fee
If your DMV charged you something different from what this calculator estimated, we want the details. Corrections that check out are applied to the data and published in the change log with the date and source.
The most useful reports include:
- Your state and county
- The transaction (new purchase, used purchase, renewal, title transfer)
- The fee line that was wrong, and what you were actually charged
- A link to the official page or a photo of the receipt, if you have one — with personal details removed
We read everything. Fee corrections get priority — those affect what other people budget for, so they move to the front of the queue.
Request a state
We’re adding the remaining states on a rolling basis and we prioritise by what people ask for. Tell us which state you need and we’ll factor it into the order.
What we can’t help with
We’re an independent calculator, not a government agency and not a registration service. We can’t look up your record, process a renewal, transfer a title, resolve a citation, or tell you what your specific assessed value is on file. For any of those, contact your state agency directly — every state page here links to the official portal.
